EyeCare
Routine eye exams are an important part of everyones healthcare. Over 70 different health conditions can be detected through routine eye examinations, most of which do not effect your vision initially.
Specialized testing and monitoring of ocular disease is the role of Optometry, along with accurate refraction for prescription eyeglasses. If a condition requires necessary surgery, we then refer you to only the best surgeons around, and in most cases, you return to us for your post operative followups.
Non-medical routine eye exams should be performed every two years, unless you are having some change in your vision.
Medical exams should be performed annually; some testing may be required more often.
Infant exams should start at six months. If no problems are detected during this initial visit, the doctor will probably recommend a comprehensive vision examination at age 3.
